This is an interesting wine in that it reminds me of more of a Zin than a Cab.
Nose: I’m picking up cherries, tea leaf, cigar, and warm spice notes like cardamom and nutmeg.
Palette: This is a jammy back fruit forward wine. It’s creamy and round with chocolate and vanilla with a touch cedar on the back end and dry finish.
Tannins are moderate.
In the glass: opaque with a ruby tone and it has long legs with abv at 14.9%. Other vintages ate 15.5% or more.
I like this wine, its easy to drink the creaminess helps with the higher alcohol . This wine was aged 30 months in 58% new french oak. The grapes are from coobsville. If you really enjoy Zins and fruit forward creamy wines, this is for you.
I generally do not gravitate to this style
of wine but can appreciate it and share a bottle.

The Napa Project had a nice write up on the winery. Actually they do an amazing job with all the winery reviews, I just love the back stories.
