Decanted for a couple hours in the glass. Rich dark fruit of plum, blackcurrant, a touch of black cherry. Medium plus acidity. Tannins have softened beautifully and feel silky and well-integrated at this point. The finish lingers nicely with some cedar and earthy notes underneath. Just entering its drinking window and should be good for many more years. At $58 this is a serious QPR — Margaux at this level for that price is hard to beat.

I have this exact wine in my cellar (same vintage and everything)! Appreciate the notes… have been debating on whether to open this soon…
