Need help picking colors and backsplash for my kitchen/ dining room!

Hi all!

Me and my parent unfortunately but fortunately had to unexpectedly redo our entire kitchen and dining room due to a found leak. We are doing brand new color scheme and cannot decide what to do.

For reference. We already have countertops installed. I will attach a photo. Our cabinets have also been painted as well. We have decided on the color "farro" by sherwin Williams definitely in the kitchen but can't decide if we should also paint the dining room the same color as well.

Our dining room is already a blueish green and we could paint it the same color again (we have to remove and repaint due to asbestos. ) but we are struggling to figure it out. I will attach some photos for reference.

We are also deciding between backslaps as well and have attached a couple options we like.

Also- We are set on the rug in the dining room

But have struggled with rug colors in kitchen.( brown, terracotta? Open to suggestions)
