Just finished adding new quarter round to the bottom, and torn between keeping the wainscotting this green colour, or painting it. We painted the doors dark recently, and I don’t love them with the green- but they are never really closed so I don’t necessarily want to make the decision based on that?
Would love any creative inspiration or thoughts! My first thought was just to paint white, the same colour as the walls, and get a red, Persian rug style runner.

Keep the green it’s gives so much character
I love it personally
Honestly, I love it personally I wouldn’t change anything!
Keep the green, get rid of the white. Maybe a nice wallpaper.
Love it! Do you like pink or orange? Maybe paint top 1/2 pink or orange and add more artwork on the walls. Change the light fixture to a small chandelier.
Love it 💚💚💚
Keep it and add hanging planters at the ends of the halls with easy to care for plants like pothos
I love the green. The yellow chair, not so much.
Sort of hard to tell if this is accurate based on lighting and my phone screen, but to me the green is leaning too yellow/lime paired with the dark doors (which, by the way, I love).
Part of the problem to me is also the white trim and white upper half of the wall. The doors are a HUGE contrast there and I think you may need to soften the impact with fully colored walls.
What number this green is
I love it so much
Green is my favorite color and I love this.
I would wait the wainscot the same color as the doors and add wallpaper on the wall above. The green has a certain cottage charm but IMO looks too yellow and doesnt match the doors. But you might want to take a step back and think about the style you want to go for first.
Love the green, if you’re determined to keep the yellow chair, add some decorative pillows to make it more cohesive
