My first time ever having a wine with this much age. I’ve been saving this bottle for a while and obviously very excited to try it.
Ended up decanting and consuming for a few hours. It really started to peak after about 90 minutes.
Medium bodied and savory on the palate with ton of fruit. Smooth tannins, perfectly balanced and a long finish. Very powerful aromas of black fruit, cassis, leather, and tobacco. It drinks wonderfully now but can likely age well for another 10-15 years.
