Q: Will you keep the roof color the same? (that affects the siding color) You have brick front steps and they can/should be a part of your exterior color palette too.
A: The front door is typically a different color from the shutters (unless they’re both natural wood, ofc).
A: Shutters are common on Cape Cods, but they should look like they can actually close to cover the window from the storm (which was their original purpose). So the small right window works with shutters, but the left side shutters look obviously fake.
A: Window boxes work if they work with your landscaping/yard plan.
Q: Have you goggled images for “small Cape Cod house”? You can get some ideas of what will elevate and improve the exterior of yours. Tip: choose what *the house needs*, not necessarily what *you love*.
