Hi all! How can I achieve this soft/muted look in the green wall paint from these photos? On my first attempt, I picked out a paint that looked like the right color and sheen, but ended up with my walls looking less like a cozy cottage and more like Shrek. A secondary question- is there a way to mute or soften wall paint without having to completely paint over it?

Did you take these photos with you for color match?
It sounds like you picked the wrong color?
Get some different colors and swatch it on your wall first before committing to it.
Dead Flat paint finish by Farrow and Ball gives this look.
