So I'm renovating my bathroom at the moment and have fallen in love with this deep, navy-cobalt blue tile. I really want to use this as a feature tile in the shower but have stared at so many tiles now that I've gotten in my head about what to pair it with and they've all lost meaning 😂
For context, I live in an English cottage (old workers cottage next to a farmhouse renovation) and it's in keeping with that theme, beams, rural views etc.
To tie in the bathroom, I was thinking vaguely Mediterranean farmhouse style – the deep blue in the shower, then rustic travertine either on the walls and floor, or the floor and another tile on the walls.
My doubts now – is the blue fan tile too glossy + modern that it clashes with the rustic travertine? Do I need an ivory gloss tile on the wall to pull it together?
To be paired with a wooden, fluted style sink cabinet, wooden touches, white ceramics and gold fittings.
