Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim and medium plus intensity.
Fruity nose of black currants, black plums, blackberries, light oak, earth, herbs, chocolates and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with blueberries, currants, plums, sweet cherries, chocolates, light oak, licorice, spices, herbs, light tea and earth.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Tangy and spicy. Smooth and soft.
Good right out of the bottle and better after 90 minutes in the decanter.
This Napa Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux blend feels young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years. Will continue to age nicely in the next 12 years.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. Fruit forward and elegant. Complex and entertaining.
A blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon with Petit Verdot and a touch of Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Aged for 21 months in (83% new) French Oak barrels.
