Im super curious for your honest opinions for improvements or changes that should be made.
This is the wife and I’s apartment with a mixture of both of our decorating styles. Although I wouldn’t specify most as one or the other because we have similar tastes. That’s our tuxedo cat in the floor picture because his home is part of the decor lol
Side note: what decorating style would you call this?

The answer is always more art and books and texture. I mean, we all know the best answer is more dogs and or cats but it looks like you got that covered.
A more constructive answer to your question. I think a pop of a gallery wall above your couch would look lovely. You already have two posters there maybe add a cluster two or more. And if you can maybe do a small moment of the same thing above your TV that might look nice as well.
Pic 2: Plants are too close to the ceiling. The table under counter looks a little awkward. Do you use it?
Pic 3: a gallery wall above the couch would be nice instead of around the tv (pic 4). The current art pieces on the wall with the couch are too spread out. I personally don’t love the vines on the mantle. Table in front of the fireplace is awkward.
Pic 4: too busy around the tv. Relocate the cork board.
Pic 7: use a warm bulb.
It’s so nice for the art hanging on the wall that the tv sits at their eye level.
