Opened it with friends as a treat.
Deep gold colour and it was probably past its prime or at least waning. Not sure how well it had been stored, but it was fun to open a wine from the last century.
Lots of apples and pear notes, some hints of honey, but not a lot of complexity. The acidity was high and made it feel bright and yet mellow. 13.5% Alcohol.
It was served a bit cold but it opened up after warming up.
Got one more bottle left.
