I have a family of four and need a solution for entryway shoe storage. Right now shoes get left under/around the bench. Ideally something that looks somewhat upscale since this is the first thing people see when they come into the house (although I can change out knobs and do other minor DIY work to make it look nicer if needed). It needs to fit large men’s shoes, which is an issue with a lot of options I’ve found online. The tall wall is 28” wide. Any ideas?

ikea has shoe cabinets that work for all shoe sizes, each cabinet fits 4 pairs of shoes

I’d get a custom bench made that fills that space. Have the seat lift like a toy box lid and it can be filled with shoes and boots.
