Help! We hung the metal sculpture yesterday. I followed general guidance and it’s 6-8 inches from top of couch. Is it too low? With the leaded windows I’m now thinking it should be higher.
I think in this case I would raise it a bit. I would try it first with the bottom of the art in line with the bottoms of the windows. If that still looks too low, try to center it with the windows. I would just make sure the art isn’t going higher than the windows.

Definitely higher. I can see long hair and yawn stretches getting tangled up in that thing.

Not at all an expert but this would look much better horizontally centered at the halfway point of the leaded windows. I think the lack of perfect symmetry of the art piece will help keep it from looking too exact, but if not, maybe raise it another inch past the center line to create a bit more interest.

I also vote to hang it higher. I would hang it so it is situated right in the middle of your windows.
