Looking for advice on finishing touches to make this bedroom feel more thoughtful. I have art of different sizes, I’m just not sure where to put it because of awkward heights and obstacles on the wall. The windows need some kind of dressing and I don’t think the rug is right but I’m not sure what I need instead. This is a rental but they let me do reversible changes, I’m just not trying to spend a lot of money.
Not planning on changing out any furniture, and I have a new linen duvet cover coming that’s more of a terracotta/cinnamon color than the current threadbare pinky-taupe.

Window treatments
Big art above the bed? or a couple pieces.
Then maybe some floating shelves on the wall where the dresser is? Definitely not on the same wall as them cat post, otherwise those become an extension of the kitty. shelves! lol!
Different rug for sure. And I’m in with you for curtains, perhaps lighter pastel color similar to the bed sheets of featuring some pink/orange pastels in it. But that mirror is kinda in an odd place.

Without spending any money I would just balance your lamps so they’re equal distance from the bed on both sides and put either one big piece of art or a grouping over the bed, and call it a day.
BTW I think your Cats already claimed that room as their own. I like your wall color a lot!
