I'm really struggling to pull the trigger on a curtain purchase. I'm stuck on length, color, and curtain rod style.
Length: For standard curtain sizes, 84" is too short to reach the floor. 96" is the next standard size, which means the curtains would be hung where the measuring tape reaches in pic 2. Is that too high? Too low? Too randomly positioned? I'd love advice. We have pretty high ceilings. (P.S. Our baseboard is safe with curtains.)
COLOR: Leaning toward green or natural/ivory/oatmeal color range. Probably semi-sheer linen. Open to feedback!
ROD: Do I go with a thick rod? A thin rod? A wood rod? A black rod? A golden rod? Help!
Thanks for any advice! Style-wise, most of our furniture and decor is vintage, MCM, eclectic, if that helps.
