Without moving a door, how would you redesign this laundry?
On the left is a door, not a wall, so I can't build anything wall-to-wall in our laundry.
The room is 3.7m x 1.6m and 80cm of that is taken up by the door opening, leaving 2.9m to work with.
Keep in mind that if you make the door swing the opposite way or replace it with a sliding door, you will still need about 80cm clearance to walk into the room (otherwise you would walk directly into/have to squish past a bench).
Putting stuff on the opposite wall is also not an option.
Ideally it would have a utility cupboard with power, a washer and dryer, big sink and place for dirty laundry – if such a dream is possible.
