hi all!
after years of living with a roommate, I am finally moving into my first big girl apartment at the end of this month!!
I am working with a tight budget, so id like to upcycle as many of my existing items as possible, and the first thing I want to beautify is my boring ugly target tv stand. I'm aiming for a vintage moody romantic vibe throughout the place (it's a vintage apartment with tons of charm that I want to honor!).
how can I make this stand cutesy and unique?? photo of TV stand, and pics from my Pinterest board of my general style.

Start by painting it. That sounds like a stupidly obvious solution, but in the past, I’ve painted ugly flat-pack furniture and decoupaged scrapbooking paper to the back panel, and at the end I achieved the shabby chic effect I was going for. I’m currently planning on painting my cheap FB Marketplace bookcase a nice dark green and applying peel and stick wallpaper to the back panel for a “goblincore/ jungle” look.
Google “bookcase hack/ DIY redo”. There’s a ton of tutorials out there.
