Enjoyed this bottle of “Pascal Agrapart Avizoise bdb grand cru 2014” with the wife last night and I wanted ask for your feedback.

First off, this was a great bottle. It had beautiful notes of pears, green apples and a little twist of brioche. The bubbles were light and it sorta reminded me a bit of a sweet wine.

The question I have is: while the bottle was great, I felt I had to drink it rather quickly before the bubbles dissipated. It was quite evident on the palate that after 5-10 min of pouring a glass it would start to loose bubbles.
Is this by design or is it a flaw in the bottle or something I did wrong in serving perhaps?

It was served in Josesphinenhütte champagne glasses.
