Start with the bed placement—ideally against the longest wall with nightstands on either side if space allows. Then work outward from there with other furniture.
For storage, think vertical—tall bookshelves or floating shelves maximize space without eating up floor area. A cohesive color scheme helps too—pick 2-3 main colors and stick with them for bedding, curtains, and decor.
If you’re unsure about furniture placement or which layout will work best, sketch out a few options or use a room planner before you start moving things around. Saves a lot of back pain!

Center your bed on the wall it’s currently on with a dresser on either side. If you don’t have/need two dressers, I would put the dresser against the wall with the door. I would put the mirror on the wall next to the dresser so you can get dressed and take a quick look to make sure everything’s sitting right.
