Hello. We are getting the house repainted. I want a dark accent wall in the dining room area similar to this color in the second picture. The issue I have is that the wall continues into the hallway. Hence the black arrow on the other picture posted. Where I would want the color to stop, doesn't have trim there to separate the two colors without it looking crazy. What would you do? Or maybe I should have the accent wall to the right side. But it wont look like a focal point there. Any suggestions?

If there’s no natural break like trim or a corner, I’d either carry the accent color through the hallway so it feels intentional, or choose a different wall that has clear boundaries, because stopping it mid-wall without architectural separation can look awkward.
I would generally agree with Charming that you should continue the colour or pick a different wall but you have 2 piece of trim like 8 inches away from each other’s here…can you just extend them so they touch at the ceiling and use that as a natural break to the colour?
It’s odd but would accomplish what your looking to do and I doubt ppl would look that closely as to notice it with it being high and out of the way
