It’s an awkward space to photograph, but I’m really excited to share how my speakeasy is coming along! This is a dark room in the basement so we leaned into the vibes and painted it dark purple and dark blue. The big walk in closet is basically wall to wall bookshelves, and the main space will be a cozy place to hang out and listen to the radio or audiobooks, play crib, etc.
We need to switch up the fixtures for the overhead lighting, get a couple pieces of art for the empty walls, and……… get a hidden bookshelf door for the entrance!
