I’m having the hardest time.
The first photo is before and the second photo is after. Ive since put up some art on the walls and mounted a tv mount.
im planning to change the coffee table to a slimmer bench style because theres not a lot of room to walk. it will be black.
do you think the first rug looks better or the second with the sofa color? I increased the size of the rug but now im wondering if its too big.

Honestly neither since their both very different but also the same colour? It’s too different and not different enough somehow
If these were the only choices I’d go with the darker one but if your planning on buying anyway I’d keep looking especially since it’s a bit too big for the space…if you pulled it back so that the whole couch was on it it might be too small? I don’t know but neither are quite right for the space
