Full wall of velvet curtain -need help with colour choice
I’m getting a full velvet wall of curtain to help with sound dampening.
I’m torn between two colours from alandel fabric. One is Cabernet and the other blush
I have walnut floors and acacia wood items and my bedframe is a grey wash though I’m hoping to also change to a warmer wood like acacia. My ceilings are high and I’m thinking the Cabernet will help make the room more cozy but I’m also wondering if the more neutral blush is better to blend with the white walls which have a hint of pink to them.
This is a huge investment for me so I want to be able to come in and enjoy them. Any opinions on colour theory are welcome. I have. Lot of books and gold hardware (two gold bookcases ) as well as some brushed nickel (door handles) and the artwork I have is more saturated colours.

I actually really love the way the blue looks with your floors. But since that’s not one of your choices, I’d go with the blush. Respectfully, the cabernet reminds me of theatre curtains, especially if you’re covering the entire wall with them.
I feel like the cabernet is too dark for your space. It feels like it’d be heavy, drowning out other colors. The blush is nice. I also liked the blue, since I’m a blue fan in general, but it also sounds like the blush will work well with your existing colors
I love the Cabernet! Whenever I think of velvet, it’s always deep, rich, sumptuous colours for some reason. I just think velvet looks better with this type of colour.
