I’ve been slowly redesigning my living room lately, going for a more minimal look and removing some decorations to make the space feel cleaner and less cluttered.

The curtains are my first time trying custom-made ones (from Unicurt Curtains) — mainly wanted the lines and overall look to feel more cohesive. Now when I come home, the space feels really calm and relaxing, and visually it’s not overwhelming anymore.

But I’m curious what you all think:

Does a more minimal living room feel too empty, or does that clean aesthetic actually make it more timeless and pleasing?

I don’t think it looks minimalist at all – it’s a nice, airy space with calm, muted colours so probably very relaxing.

I would have added a little colour to make it less ‘beigey’, but that’s just my personal preference. Nothing too bold, maybe some pale blues, pinks or greens.

This is considered minimal? 😅”too empty” definitely didn’t cross my mind

It looks great though. Cozy and inviting
