This is probably the best vintage of Mascot I've had so far.
Definitely young and tannic, but settles down quickly with time in the decanter.
Tannins for days, solid acidity.
Underneath that, dark cherry, dark plum, blackberry, clove, graphite, young peppercorn notes.
Drinks well alone, but probably would be even better with food or with lots of age.
