Hello, we are closing on our first house and I am attempting to design my living room. I would love some constructive feedback on what I have come up with so far!
I like it but I hate how the upper wall matches the couches. I’d probably go a couple shades lighter or darker.

Looks great. Not a fan of the green trim up top. Feels like the moulding is too skinny to be that bold of a color. I do love the green door though.

Since ChatGPT doesn’t take it into account, make sure you mark where you want to furniture to make sure it fits and there arent and chocke points.
There are a lot of entrances/walking paths through the room, so what may look nice, may not function.
Take some painters tape and mark your intended furniture placement and then walk through it as if the furniture is there. Chat GPT tends to under estimate the actual size of furniture, that faux fireplace looks a little shallow and may not actually be to scale.

Things I don’t like: chair rail in living rooms, and the all the matching furniture. A neutral sofa is fine, but I would select 2 coordinating chairs instead. The ceiling fan looks like it was from the 90’s.
