Hey all – I put together a few guides on one of my favorite AVA's: The Douro Valley. Despite being the world's first demarcated wine region, it can still be somewhat daunting to plan a trip due to the lack of tourism infrastructure (vs. say, Napa or Willamette). My first trip was difficult — I ended up only getting into places with tour bus parking (guh).

Anyways, thought folks here may find these guides useful. I produce wine out there and split my time between there and the states, so happy to answer any questions for those thinking of going this year! It has been a tough start to the year weather wise, so they could use the tourism traffic.
