Dark brown or even terracotta rug would work. It’d have to be larger than the couch.
And, of course, you 👏 need 👏 curtains 👏. Almost floor to ceiling. It will give you that cozy/moody feeling. It’s okay to cover walls with curtains. Even though you got relatively small windows, it will work in your favor.
