I’m moving into a new place and the surrounding colour scheme is very “grey and light.” I want to warm up the place but I fear the walnut wood may look too harsh. There’s an option to go with oak wood but it doesn’t bring that “cozy” feeling I’m looking for. Need opinions please!!

Walnut works better than you’d think with grey. Just add warm lighting and soft textiles to pull it together.
