I had to add a litter box in my upstairs home office because my cat is getting too old/lazy to get to the basement all the time.

To give her some privacy and reduce the ick factor, I grabbed this Ikea room divider. It's really really plain & I'm looking for ideas to make it less of a void.

Buy a nice one or get a covered box

Oh. I hope it didn’t cost too much. Can you take it back?

I’m so sorry, not to be mean, but it’s a very unattractive item. If you’re looking for at least semi nice looking camouflage, you’d be better off with a cat box enclosure.

Some of them are really nice. But if they’re too much, I made one out of an old, but still nice looking cabinet I had bought on craigslist. It was only around 15 or 20 bucks. I just cut a cat sized hole in one end (I actually paid a buddy to do it). It was long enough for the cat box and a “runway” to put a rug in front of the litter box so as to pull off most of the residual litter.

I only later upgraded to a store bought one and my old homemade one sold lightning fast on CL. I think I even made a little profit.
