Hi all! Looking for ways to elevate my entryway console table. I am in dire need of a new lamp but not sure what would look right. I have a small one there now, but think I need one with a little more presence. I’ve looked at so many but can’t seem to commit to any. Any ideas would be appreciated 😊

I wouldn’t put a chair there…who’s going to sit there? Personally I think that console is too wide. Lovely house!
Turn you chair just a tad toward the table. Put the horse head in the center and the books where the horse is now.
I‘d go for a bit of character with the lamp (art or antique if you must, or quirky maybe?) or add some life, as in put fresh flowers or a potted plant there. Not trying to be mean, but I think that‘s what‘s missing there.
I would remove the chair. The books and lamp feel too tiny against the height of the wall. Look for a substantial lamp and place it where the horse is. Then put the horse on the opposite end. If you want to do the books, I’d create a cluster/vignette with at least 3 items in that area. Maybe some hand made pottery, a dish, and a plant. A piece of vintage artwork leaning against the wall could possibly look nice as well.
