We are kind of DIY-ing my little “hobby room” in our new house to be a wine room. I don’t have a lot of budget to work with right now so using wine storage I already have. One day I hope to be able to invest into building it out a bit more and painting the room dark, but for now this is pretty much as good as it’s going to get. The lighting in here is killing me right now though and I want to put something in a little less harsh. Does anyone have recommendation for ceiling lights that might work in a space like this? Want it to be dim and cozy in here. Thank you to anyone who has any suggestions!

Have you considered pendulum lights? Bonus if you get them with a dimmer switch so you can manually adjust how “dim and cozy” you want it.
I’d be more concerned about the heat and light from the window. Don’t know where is the work you are so temp might melt be an issue but I would consider putting some UV protective film on the window.
Be careful about keeping the wine rack next to the window. Light and heat can damage the wine.
