Hey peeps,
My partner and I are currently trying to make space/arrange our kitchen. I like the idea of a small island. My partner however does not.
The general consensus is: He likes the open layout and having an island would close the space off.
Me: It would add some space and tie the area together a little better.
Any thoughts?

You don’t have clearance for an island that would be a practical size. He’s right.
Only if you remove the wall with the fridge. Otherwise there’s no space based on what we can see in the pic
No island. The space isn’t big enough.
You’re adding counter space but also removing floor space in an already limited area so in this instance I’d side with him.
Too small. No island. It would look cramped and be a pain in the arse to navigate.
