Had a few friends over after spending the day at the WMO. My wife is the bubbles lover so I didn’t try any of those, except for the ‘96 Krug which was tired. Still pleasant, very nutty.
Of the three Colgins, while all were sublime, I preferred the 15 Tychson Hill. I’m finding the 15 cabs are in a great place right now and really drinking well. The Harlan was a 16 and the third bottle I have had from my case in the last month. It is really drinking well, and while it may improve, it’s hard to resist right now.
