What should I place here?

Hi everyone! I’m looking for some advice on what (if anything) I should place on this wall.

There’s a door immediately to the right that swings fully open and clears this wall, so anything bulky or deep wouldn’t really work. I’ve been debating whether this space should stay empty or if something light like a plant, wall art, or another idea would make sense here.

I’d love to hear your thoughts—would you decorate this area, or let it breathe?

    if you want something there, hang a vertical art piece, don’t put something on the floor

    Given the door and proximity to the tv, I’d just let it breathe.

    Artwork or something flat on the wall. But not a mirror. Bc one day someone will open that door too hard and slam it into whatever is there.

    Edit to add: maybe a hanging plant from the corner? But if you aren’t loving any suggestions, leaving it alone would be best.

    If it really bothers you, a soft tapestry or macrame just to give some texture (and won’t get knocked off the wall)
