A quick search suggests this is the 2013 Cane “Five” Spring Mountain Bordeaux Blend. Anyone have experience with this wine? Tempting since 2013 was a great year in Napa

Out of all the elivettes I had 2013 was the worst one. Since Cain and spring mountain winery are similar areas and these are roughly same blend I’m going to pass. It’s odd since 2013 is supposed to be a great vintage.

I was hoping it was Smith Madrone but I am 99% sure is Cain Five. I love Cain so I bought it anyway.
My notes may be wrong but I have the 2013 Elivette previously selling on LB for $35/bottle. I feel like if a bottle pops up again on LB it’s generally at the same price. I hope it’s something else. Granted, the mystery dynamic adds a twist and it still may be the same thing.

This is definitely the elivette.

Like others have said… most likely Cain Five. I bought a couple, so we’ll see in a few weeks!
