I moved into my first apartment a few months ago and have been stumped on what to do. I’m not sure if I’m just getting older (I’ll be 30 this year Sept 21st) but I can’t seem to pinpoint a style that I gravitate to. Please help me or give me pointers. I know there’s items on my tables but I don’t have storage as of yet. The couches are said to be a burgundy pleather material, I got them for free. They just look like a somewhat dark brown leather to my eyes. I would have chosen a lighter couch but I’m so grateful to the person who gave me them. Please be gentle with me, I’ve never done this before. When I’ve stayed with family or roommated with my sister I could decorate no problem. Now I’m alone I’m stumped. Please help me! Please ignore my makeshift nightstands also 😂 I’m doing one room at a time. My apartment is 750 ish sq feet

Do you need both couches? I feel like the second one, by the counter wall is just eating up space. Some bar stools would look way better there. Remove the pink pillows, there is already a lot of pink in the couches, the lighter pillows look better.
Spray paint the pink tables, gold. Center your media stand. Could you paint the dinning table, white?
I think your space is cute, kinda just cluttered.
