We bought a new house and I don’t know much about about decor. Trying my best and doing research as best I know how. Can anyone offer some kind and honest feedback about what I’m doing right or wrong about our master bedroom? Thanks!

That is a stunning set up! You are doing amazing. I think the right small pieces/more plants will come to you with time. Absolutely love that bed and I think the room is perfect as-is.

Congratulations on new house, you are actually doing right here that leather bed frame is 10 on 10 and the dark will give such a sophisticated and moody vibe. To level up the room I like to suggest lower the wall art so it feels more connected to the headboard and add a large light colour rug to soften the floor.
I really like it. It got a polished but still comfy vibe.
Love that bed! And the curtains. I think black side stands would match better the tan leather.

This is just a personal preference, but I would change that glass on the frame to a non-reflective glass. Right now I can’t see the art as it looks like a mirror.
I think this is beautiful. I think velvet curtains could be nice to add a little drama but besides that I wouldn’t change a thing!
Do you have black out linings on those curtains? It’ll really help with blocking sunlight.
I love the whole look and feel. So cozy! While I love how the galaxy colors tie into your bed, the spacing of the photo is a bit annoying. Any chance of trying it lower (evenly spaced bw headboard and bottom of windows)? Or even turning it sideways (since space isn’t ground-anchored) and middle aligning it with the windows?

Great work! I think you could do more with wall with the mirror and shelf. I think you should put a dresser or something inplace of the wall mirror and maybe get a smaller mirror between the shelf and dresser.
Really nice! I love the throw at the end of the bed. Adds a bit of coziness. The only suggestion I have is to pull back the comforter on the bed to expose the sheets. This adds an extra visual layer. You’ll often see beds displayed like this in catalogs for that reason.
I have that same white blanket! Love it!!! Adds so much texture and warmth, and a perfect contrast to the dark bedding.
Wow that is one polished and sleek bedroom! I love it! I like the choice of paint, bedframe and blinds. They go together so nicely.
If it were my space though, I would place the mirror a bit higher, and the two shelves next to it. Or just go all out and get a whole mirrored wall to spice things up 🤭
