Sconces, with crystal drops on each side of the painting. To me the color of the chairs feels “space age” Can you get some pink frilly seat covers? Or swap the chairs for curvy Queen Anne to complement the painting?

Have you considered stick on floor tiles in lieu of a rug? They come in lots of patterns and would produce a similar effect. Secondly, A round table would soften the space. And thirdly, an eclectic gallery wall would cozy up the space so go for it! 🙂
