We’re looking to redo the window treatment for the bay window in our living room. We’ve had difference variances of curtains but have toddlers that love playing on the couch and in the window, which has resulted in a lot of issues with the curtain rod being they hang on the curtains and hide in them.
We had a quote for plantation shutters which we didn’t really want to do to begin with, plus they were $1500.
Ideally, I’m looking for one single blind stretching all the way across, with a curtain rod mounted higher up and the curtains simply kept on the very ends of the rod. However, I wasn’t sure if blinds are meant for bay windows like this? Although it looks like the previous owners had something mounted inside.
I question if it’ll look good, and if I do go this route, would type/style of blinds would you recommend?
Thanks so much in advance! 🙂

Normally i would not suggest this, but since you have toddlers, what about vertical blinds for now? Then in few years you can change them.
Just here to emphasize with “kids playing in the bay window ripping the curtains down”. Following
