Have recently moved into a mid century – 70s era home. Orange curtains came with the house, so we’ve bought furniture from marketplace to complement them. Stuck on what else to add to this room that won’t take away from the contrast currently? Thinking of removing the blanket off the left sofa as well.
Ideally need cushions, items for the coffee table, and a rug.

I’d personally switch out the table with something round & wooden to compliment the trimming/fire place brick. Kind of hard to tell tones without the light on but definitely something colorful for the rug. Maybe blues/greens/maroons to compliment the other items
