Recently moved in, I'm struggling to like the couch with the shutters. I feel partially it's due to the cool wall colors conflicting with the warm tone of the couch and the couch size. 3rd picture is the blue I originally was going to paint the entire living room walls with but I'm now second-guessing that and leaning more towards a cream color on top half, blue on the bottom half. How can I make the couch look better and how should I paint the walls? I'm going for cottagey/ farmhouse feel.

I don’t understand why you would go to the effort and expense of painting when that couch doesn’t fit or suit the space. Painting blue will make it look worse.
I wouldnt make any changes until you change the couch.
