Calling all Riesling lovers! Please join us for RieslingKenner's 6th Annual Hofgut Falkenstein Charity Tasting Event on Sunday, March 1st from 4pm-7pm at Easy Does It, here in Chicago. This is a special event benefiting the Trotter Project where we will taste every single bottling released from Hofgut Falkenstein's 2024 vintage. Outside of the winery in Germany, this is the only place in the world where you can taste every single one of these amazing wines. We are fortunate enough to have professional German wine expert/critic David Schildknecht attending for the 4th straight year!
Nestled in the Saar region, the father-son duo of Erich & Johannes Weber has gained international acclaim for their fiercely traditional, "old-school" approach, crafting Rieslings that are celebrated for their bracing acidity, low alcohol, and crystalline precision. In a cellar where time seems to stand still, every wine is fermented with native yeasts in traditional oak Fuder and bottled by the cask to preserve the singular identity of each historic vineyard parcel.
