Looking for advice on pairing a chair with an ottoman. I have this pottery barn ayden chair barrel leather swivel chair and while I could purchase the matching ottoman, above is the one from the Irving collection (which is actually AI generated in the photo). It has storage and $100 cheaper. Only issue is the width is 22 inches vs. the chair’s 32 inches. Question is: Is this ottoman too narrow for the chair? It’s a non-refundable build so trying to get as many opinions as possible. Thanks!

I think it looks perfectly fine! It’s far more important that it matches in my opinion and it does. Big ottomans can be an obstacle in some spaces too, so I think this makes sense.
PS. Pull the chair away from the wall a bit….and consider accenting it with a plant or floor lamp.

The hues of the chair, ottoman, rug, chess board and flooring blend perfectly creating a sense of warmth in the room. I would pull the chair out and add a small table to the side. The photo art doesn’t go with the aesthetics. Is there another wall to hang it and replace it with a larger piece of wall art at eye level?
