Tried this bottle over the weekend – at £22.50, it’s absolutely superb! Pretty sure it’s a declassified version of Château Pontet-Canet… so good I went back to buy another bottle or two and they’d sold out! It seemed to just get better and better as time went on. After 2 hours there was so much chocolate coming through – with the typical dark fruit you get with most Bordeaux. Very complex for the price, and the finish went on FOREVER! Highly recommend if you can grab some. Will definitely get some more declassified bottles on the cheap.
