I went to Home Depot and got a rolling workbench that has a power strip on it. Generally used for tools and such. But……. I got it for the kitchen. Wife thinks it’s ghetto. I think it works and adds the much needed drawer space. It more or less makes a moveable island with power. It’s got a nice wood counter top for whatever. Can be moved around for parties and has power to keep food warm or put other beverages there.

What are your thoughts??

Wife is right, it’s tacky. But I have to be honest, the whole house is not my vibe–so it wasn’t really that bad in context. I cannot stand that coffee sign.

Seeing everything else going on, I don’t agree with your wife on much when it comes to decorating, but I do have to agree with her on this.

That thing doesn’t belong in the house and is ugly ugly. Actual nice kitchen islands with power strips also exist.

Those workbenches aren’t cheap and are nice…in the garage. Honestly, an open cabinet with shelving and drawers would be better here though.

Paint it! I’ve seen people hack these and make them look super cute

It feels like you just didn’t want to look long enough on Wayfarer. But while you’re improving your home, take the frames on the wall and fix the spacing. You can make that look cute with some proper placement.
