My husband got a tv and it fits right above the fireplace. It’s huge and the entrance is in the living room. I guess I like it, there’s no else to put it! The baby gate is temporary, we have kids and the baby keeps eating rocks.
This is why people buy Frame TVs. They look like art when they’re off and not like a big black hole on the wall when they’re not in use. The TV is out of scale with the fireplace, but if that’s where it’s going, aside from building doors that open and close around it, I suppose you just embrace it. You’re probably going to get a bunch of r/tvtoohigh replies coming shortly

It’s really too big for the mantle. And it should be mounted and the cords out of reach, especially if you have a baby crawling around.

Lord, you’re going to have to get creative. The TV is way too big for that spot. Go to Pinterest, do a search TV – get ideas.

Mount it in the corner of the room.
