Instead of color drenching this room I chose to lighten the walls and not do the trim and ceiling. I know color drenching is all the rage but sometimes I think layers of complimentary shades is better and gives more depth and warmth….my office is now one of my favorite rooms.

That’s great! I also think it looks nice when people do the trim and ceiling in a slightly darker or lighter version of the wall color. It’s all about what brings you the most joy when you’re in the space
