Hello! I’m trying to help my friend decide on a design that works well for her vision and the current counter tops.
They’re wanting to paint the cabinets white/cream and have the backsplash be white/cream/beige/ gold to make the space feel more open.
They’re going to try out stick and peel for the backsplash first, incase they hate it.
First 2 pics are current kitchen. 3&4 are her Inspo. The last few are ones that we both like.

I think that’s a lot of white and that the marbled backsplash would clash with the counter. Too much white makes everything feel a bit sterile and not very homey in my opinion. And the overly intricate tile patterns may also be too busy with the counter. Hear me out, light sage green tiles and a normal rectangle shape. The countertops are beautiful and you don’t want to take away from them too much. The light green still makes the space feel open without making it sterile or overly busy!
