I see a lot of feedback on GG-SA and a few others for more of the general go-to glasses. I don't see much regarding the WE Vienna Break resistant universal glasses. At $14/ea price difference, is the GG really worth the increased cost? It's a 70% price difference from WE ($20) to GG ($34). We have some cheap general Bordeaux style glasses right now, but would like something a little nicer to upgrade our day to day glassware. We do have the Riedel wine wings for when the wife and I are doing a nicer wine for just the two of us and want to do something nice, but are exploring something to replace our general hosting glassware when we have company.

Honestly I’d go with the WE Vienna for everyday hosting – that break resistant feature is clutch when you’ve got a bunch of people over and someone inevitably knocks something over. The GG is nice but for 70% more when you’re just looking to upgrade from cheapo glasses, the Vienna will do the job just fine
